LED Screen Price by Size
A buyer guide to the factors that shape LED screen price by size, from 100-inch displays to 10×10 walls.
Buyers almost always start with a size. “What does a 10×10 LED screen cost?” is a reasonable question, and it is also the hardest one to answer in a single number — because size is only one of four things that move the price.
This article explains what actually drives LED screen price by size, so you can read a quotation instead of just comparing totals.
Size is a cabinet count, not a measurement
LED screens are not priced by the square metre in the way flooring is. They are assembled from cabinets, and the cabinet size decides how a nominal dimension turns into a real one.
A common 500 × 500 mm cabinet means a “10 × 10 ft” wall is really 6 × 6 cabinets — 3.0 × 3.0 m, close to but not exactly the imperial figure. Ask any supplier to confirm the cabinet grid before you compare prices, because two quotations for “10×10” can describe walls of different real area.

The four things that move the number

The order matters. Buyers usually negotiate on area, but pixel pitch is where the money is. Dropping from P1.5 to P1.9 on a wall that will be viewed from four metres away often saves more than any discount you will negotiate — and no one will see the difference.

These are illustrative ranges for a fixed indoor installation, not quotations:

What to send for an accurate number
A supplier can quote properly with five inputs:
- 1. Viewing distance (this determines pixel pitch, not your budget)
- 2. Indoor or outdoor, and whether the site is climate-controlled
- 3. Mounting method and what the structure attaches to
- 4. Content source and how many pixels the processor must drive
- 5. Whether the screen needs to move

How much does a 3 x 2 m LED screen cost?
There is no single answer, because the same 6 m² can be built at P1.25 or at P4 and the pixel pitch moves the price several times over. What is fixed is the arithmetic underneath: 3 × 2 m in 500 mm cabinets is a 6 × 4 grid, 24 cabinets, and a real wall of exactly 3.00 × 2.00 m. Why does my exact size cost more than the size next to it?
Because a wall can only be built in whole cabinets. A target that lands 30 mm past a cabinet boundary adds a whole row or column — more area, more power, sometimes a second processor. Nudging the target by a few centimetres to land on a clean grid is the cheapest saving available on most projects.
Is a bigger LED screen cheaper per square metre?
Usually, up to a point. Volume discounts appear once the cabinet count passes a supplier threshold, and fixed costs such as the control system spread across more area. But crossing a processor pixel budget adds a whole unit at once, so the curve is a staircase rather than a slope.
