Engineering inputs before quotation.
A useful quotation begins with the project boundary. These inputs reduce assumptions, revisions and hidden interfaces.
1. Moving object
Provide the display or object dimensions, estimated total mass, center of gravity if known, mounting points and whether the visible surface is included in Joeqing’s scope.
2. Motion behavior
Describe the path, travel or angle, expected speed, number of axes and whether the movements are independent, synchronized or triggered in groups. A reference video is often more useful than a long description.
3. Installation environment
State indoor or outdoor use, project city, available support, floor or wall conditions, maintenance access, operating hours and any wind, dust, water or temperature requirements.
4. Control interfaces
Identify who supplies media playback and show control. Note expected interfaces such as TCP/UDP, sensor triggers, timecode or operator control. Final protocols are confirmed project by project.
5. Supply and delivery boundary
Choose complete system, structure or motion only, or bespoke concept development. Add the destination, target commissioning date, packing constraints and the site team’s installation responsibility.
What happens after submission
Joeqing reviews the motion family, missing inputs and likely supply route. The first response is an engineering-oriented clarification, not a final promise based on incomplete information. Confirmed drawings and values belong to the quotation and engineering review package.
